Who are you?

-Tiina. Female. 18 years. College student. Canadian. Estonian. Green Card toting- Floridan. Obsessive freak. Wolverine/Rogue 'shipper. "Artist". Among other things.. for more info/dirt on me you can visit my main site SPARK, or my LJ to follow my "exploits". Mmmm, exploits.

Wolverine/Rogue?!?!? FREAK!

-Dude, I don't care if you screw sheeps, why should you care if I like the idea of two FICTIONAL characters being together? Comprende?

What do you make your art with?

-Blood, sweat and tears.. ha ha.. oh and a pirated copy of Photoshop 7.0, good times.

Will you make me -insert style of graphic here-?

-Probably not.. unless I feel that you deserve it, hence why DD get's what she wants. The girl works hard enough as is... ;)

Why 'Coloured?'

-Okay, I figured I'd be getting alot of questions about the title. I decided to take the whole Mutation Registration/Civil Rights metaphor one step furthur. So, that's why I called the site Coloured. It's because the X-Men are coloured differently that they are discriminated upon, it's because of their genes, just like minorities were (are) discriminated upon because of their skin pigmentation. Also, personally I felt that Coloured had a conotation of lively and bright, and that's also what the X-Men are to me, their not dull and drab, their brights- from Mystiques skin to Rogue's hair, their "coloured" differently.

What are those quotes on the pages from?

-There from THE X-Men song, IMHO, Natalie Merchant's- My Skin. I first heard the song on Alias about a year ago, I thought it was beautiful then and I looked up the lyrics and wow, I was floored, it was THE Rogue/Wolvie song. Then, upon further thinking I began to see how it could be applied to the other mutuants, so I hereby proclaim it as THE X-Men song. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

All in all, I collage and read X-Men fic because it stikes a cord with me. The characters are all vunerable and human despite their powers and the relationships between the characters are very delicate and intricate, all elements of superb storytelling. And no, I wouldn't like X-Men nearly as much as I do if it were not for Bryan Singer, Hugh Jackman and Anna Paquin, they are three very brilliant artists and I admire them greatly. Also? Hugh? Hot as fuck.
